James is an editor with 25 years' worth of experience, working for the biggest broadcasters (inc: BBC, Ch 4, Ch 5, Discovery, Fox and Paramount +). He is hugely experienced in storytelling, sculpting narratives, and balancing tone in all genres across the TV spectrum.
Many programmes he has worked on have gone on to win, or be nominated for, industry awards in their field. Beyond editing, James has written a Netflix film, a BAFTA-winning childrens series, and a published comic book series.
James has been invited by his peers to be a jury member for the Bafta Scotland Awards and RTS Scotland Awards.
